Spring Feast and Ceilidh 2010
Updated 19 April 2010

Charlbury's first Spring Feast and Ceilidh was held in the Memorial Hall on Saturday 27 March 2010. This was a superb occasion, the candlelit "Bring & Share" feast of local seasonal food coincided with WWF's Earth Hour and Kismet provided the wonderful ceilidh music to whirl away the evening.
A heartfelt THANK YOU to all who helped out - delicious food - did you try the nettle pesto? Lots of deft foot work on the dance floor as well as some interesting variations! It was a great evening - let's do it again.
Thanks to everyone for the food they brought along to share; Barry from the Three Horseshoes for the bar and to his assistants; David, Maria, Anne, Frayne, Jessie, Annemarie, Frances for decorating the hall; Geoff on door; the washer uppers Flora, Esme, Milena, Sarah; The Friends Meeting and St Mary's for use of plates, cutlery and tablecloths; Rosa, Rosie; Sue for the daffodils and Kath for the lovely table decorations; The Charlbury Beer Festival and Charlbury Morris for their financial support; and all who helped to dismantle everything. You all made it even more of a community event.
Enjoy this short film of the evening - available in HD (720p).
